GUIDE TO TRAINING ON GIANT SKELETONS

Introduction

These are some of the best experience in the game and not too well know, all though they are getting more and more popular. I have personally used them for some of my training here, I powered from 90-99 strength and 92-96(I will be getting 99 here) defence here. They are located in Damis' Lair north of Ardougne, you must have a ring of visibility on though to see the ladder leading down to Damis Lair.

You have to start Desert Treasure in order to obtain the ring from Rasolo, if you have lost your ring you can just talk to Rasolo to get a new one.

Suggested Stats

Hitpoints 80

Attack 75

Strength 70

Defence 80

The Monster

Now on to what you will be training on the Giant Skeletons. They are level 80 with 70 hp, 280 experience per kill. They are fairly easy to kill with a salve amulet(e),obtained from the Haunted Mine quest and enchanted with Tarns Diary from Tarns Diary mini Quest. I average about 70-85k Exp an hour here occasionally I can get 90k an hour but thats not too common.

What to Take

Below is what I would recommend taking

Gear

Amulet- Salve Amulet(e)

Weapon- Abyssal Whip / Dragon Scimitar / Saradomin Sword

Body- Guthans Platebody / Any Barrows plate besides Verac / Bandos / Rune

Sheild- Rune Defender or Dragonfire Sheild (I havent used Dfs here so Im not sure if its better or not)

Gloves- Best Recipe for Disaster gloves / Combat Bracelet

Boots- Dragon / Rune

Ring- Warrior Ring / Berserker Ring / Ring of visibility

Inventory

This is what I take and I find it best for me the potions you bring can vary a bit its all up to you and what you find best

skeleinvo.jpg

Guthans Helm and Guthans Warspear for Healing

Dragon Battleaxe for special

Restore Potions to get rid of the negative effects of Dragon Battleaxe

Super Attack Potions and Super Defence Potions

Getting to Damis Lair

Getting to Damis lair is fairly easy from north Ardougne bank just head slightly north-west and you will see a simi-transparent ladder which will be the entrance to Damis Lair. Below is a map leading to Damis Lair.

At Skeletons

At the skeletons there are two spots with two giant skeleton spawns. Below is a picture of the skeleton spawns.

skelespawns.jpg

The skeletons will auto attack you for a period of time but after a while they will just ignore you so just switch between the two spots to keep up the auto attack

This is my first guide ever so dont be to harsh =D

They wont get crowded, there's already been a guide or 2 on these.

Good guide, you should add something about familiars though. They can usually give a nice amount of exp. ;)

Also, you might want to remove restore pots. You dont really need to bring them if you spec early enough. Or at least thats what I remember.

if you dont bring restore pots and are using dba special the super attack and super defence pots wont give as much of a boost
