CastleWars3
OK, so i have 64 thieving, and i might go for 99 once i reach the bank part of contact. When i used the rune hq plunder calculator, i made it so that i only checked the chests in every room, and i searched all the earns in my last room, i got about 5k exp each round, and it said i only needed about 2k games till 99? Here are my questions: Is this really accurate, or will it take me more? Can i use familiars? ex: magpies to raise thieving by 2 Will the amt of games change when im able to go into more rooms? How long would this take? thx in advance :shame: 99 Fletching - 08/14/08Fire Cape - 3/7/09Quest Cape - 12/29/0999 Defense - 3/17/

D Jay99
thx in advance :shame: Fail smilie? Anyway, the Macaw doesn't work. Also, calculating the amount of games doesn't have much use. Just find some guide (be it youtube or tip.it/rsc/whatever) and do what it says. After a while you'll get good at it. 71-81 is about 140k xp/hour, 81-91 is about 180k, and 91-99 is ~210k xp/hour. Also, you don't have to bump if your post is still on the first page.
-Devoted12-
Check out this guide by Dork. It is a fairly good guide and will help you maximize xp in an hour. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=113&t=538066 Have fun with plunder and good luck on those sceptres! :D Other than that, my guess would be that the calculator would be a little off. As you increase, you get more xp per loot, so that the xp would be changing, but then again, the calc may have taken that into concern.
a7x_fan_4eva
Is this really accurate, or will it take me more? -From 76, I worked out that it will take me 1.2k games to 99, so yes I think 2k games is a good amount. But don't forget, there will be some times when you do not check/loot all urns so you will have less exp than other times, and also you will get more exp as you gain entry into each room. Can i use familiars? ex: magpies to raise thieving by 2 -You can use a familar yes, you can either use a thieve boost, but i prefer to use a healing familar as I do not have to bring food. You can also use a storage familar so that it can hold the trinckets for you. Will the amt of games change when im able to go into more rooms? -Yes it will, you will get a lot more exp as you go into rooms 6, 7 and then 8 = less games. How long would this take? -If you use the approach you wrote of in the introduction, and if speaking you get 10 games done in an hour (50mins pp, 10 mins banking) it will prolly take around : 64-71: 68 Games = 408 mins (6.8 Hours) 71-81: 151 Games = 906 mins (15.1 Hours) 81-91: 270 Games = 1620 mins (27 Hours) 91-99: 393 Games = 2358 mins (39.3 Hours) Total - 5292 mins (88.2 Hours) This is just an estimate using runehq's calculator, and is based on 10 games an hour, and the max exp gained using your method in introduction. This may be totally off, so if anyone with more experience wants to give a better estimate, feel free. :D Good Luck if you do choose to get 99 thieve, thats my goal after 99 attack :D Also, I use this guide when I do pyramid plunder. It is short sweet and to the point, and although it uses a duel ring charge, you will make more money then dropping stone trinkets. 14 Skills at 99 All Skills 85+ 2370+ Total 3058 Glacor Kills 326 Shards of Armadyl 1 Ragefire 1 Glaiven 2 Steadfast 33 Effigys 17 Abyssal Whips 5 Staff of Light 5 Dark Bows 40 Dragon Boots 16 Polypore Sticks62 Barrow Items 6 Pharah Sceptres 117 Effigys
