Anyhow, this. First signature in ever and with new, unfamiliar brushes, to boot. Not trying to gain sympathy atall. Honestly.

 

As it has been a short eternity since I last opened photoshop, im liable to have gone overboard with some features, yet to my lazy eyes they are invisible.

 

(Except the text, im pretty sure that could do with doing up.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Minor Changes;

 

 

 

 

(I prefer the sharpness of the first, but the contrast and brightness of the second. Maybe I should just sharpen some things in the second one?)

 

 

 

Re-colouring + Contrast alteration;

 

 

 

 

The cracks on the right are meant to represent the Lines of Death from his Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. Although I am undecided whether they look good there, id like them in rather than not. (If youre unfamiliar with such wizardry, read up on it.)

 

Im unsure whether or not to have the 3 different sprites in, but it looks really bare without the 2 faded ones in there.

 

 

 

And if youre curious enough to want to see the whole thing animated:

 

 

( Throws his knife at his opponents point of death, dashes after it, flips over them, grabs his knife, breaks their neck and lands. )

 

 

 

Anyway, im looking for some input and whatnot.

 

Especially if someone could possibly show how I could reduce the brightness of the white - by the render - slightly without dampening the whole signature.

 

(If you understand what I mean.)

You should really try another style other then hiding a part of the signature with a shadow. It's not bad, but the style is getting old.

About the signature, it's Cad quality. Great as always. Loving the way the sprite goes on the signature. Effects are great too. Bit too bright for me, but still good.

 

 

 

Good thing that you still got the skill, haven't seen you in a long while.

I think the third version looks the best, but the flow is pretty choppy in all of them. That light to dark contrast isn't very pleasing to me, at least. It looks pretty bland, too. I think it's okay overall, but it's not great.

Anyway, you signature has no depth.

 

The use of your stock on your sig improves it a lot, but the fading to black style just obseletes this. In stead of fading to black, make it a little bit more than negative space. Also, link to sheet?

I'm curious where do you find these sprites?

I prefer the first version, but I'm not really a big fan of the signature. The main sprite stands out too much for my liking and in a way the whole signature just seems quite bland. The other, slightly faded sprites are distracting your eyes from what should be the main focal point: the main sprite and the light above him. I'm not sure about the text, I suppose it works, but again it is quite distracting.

 

 

 

That being said, I really like the sprites themselves, so I'd also like the link to the sheet. :-#
