What is the best item to alch, which can easily be brought of the GE. would steel bars be good. As i can buy the bars smith them into a steel body plate and then alch them. Is there a profitable way? i will be doing 3300 alch's, so idon't mind if there a small loss, (0 - 50K)

 

Note, i will be buying the nats not making them.

Not sure what is the best, this is what people commonly alch: Yew longs, Mage longs, Green d hide bodies, Blue d hide bodies, Steel plates, ect.

I usually profit about 20k on yew longs if i make them myself :s

There are very few items that you can actually alch at a profit, but occasionally some addy or rune items will actually profit if you can buy them at the minimum price. You can also consider it a profit if the item you're alching is virtually impossible to sell. (For example, if you got a bunch of rune javelins in a junk trade.) But for something like yew longs or d'hide bodies you're always going to lose.

 

 

 

It doesn't matter if you bought it or made it yourself, because the Grand Exchange price is the same no matter where you got it.

Rune stuff....well you can buy rune stuff or green d hide bodies making 20gp plus profit anytime. I usually make iron stuff myself and smith it.

But thats not very fast now is it. In the time it takes you to make 1k yews I could prolly alch 2k
