Hello guys.

 

 

 

Now that I'm back playing RuneScape after a very long break I'm wondering if I've missed out on any 'fun' updates.

 

 

 

I've noticed that there is a new way of trading which I've had a brief experience with. I'm also aware that the Wildy doesn't exist anymore.

 

 

 

So, what fun new mini-games have we had? When I last played the only ones I did were Pest Control and Castle Wars.

 

 

 

Before I quit I used to spend alot of time killing Dusties just for the fun of it and a hope to get d chain. I don't want to continue doing this again as it got quite boring !

 

 

 

Any tips/information are welcome.

Best way to find out what's changed is to read the updates, it's probably alot faster. Just go do some quests, train slayer, explore, go find out what you've missed, you found out about the wild, the rest shouldn't be too hard.

Can't be bothered to read every single update. I've been away for that long I'd probably be reading all night. If Jagex haven't been slacking I assume there has been some new quests.

anyway you shud try clan wars or FoG (fist of guthix) for a bit, there pretty good fun for a while and if you want to mix slayer up a bit try smoking kills for the new points system

And summoning.

Id say, go do all the quests you havent done.

 

Train some skills you might not have very high.

 

 

 

Reading all the updates will be faster then waiting for people to tell you every update. ;)

There's a runecrafting minigame coming out this month....

 

 

 

Aside from that, Vinesweeper is an interesting addition to farming. There's summoning, with new pets.

 

 

 

Smoking kills for new Slayer rewards, you can even block certain monsters from being tasked now (You'll need slayer points to do so).

 

 

 

New Lumbridge diary. It only goes up to Medium tasks but the reward is good enough (A ring with infinite teleports to the cabbage patch south of Falador, 3 energy recharges a day)

That smoking kills game sounds good. I look the idea that you can block certain monsters from being your slayer task. I think I'll check that out.

Castle wars is great if you're stuck for fun, other than that just PM anyone you might know.
