Stefto Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 with crafting alone you wont make it (unless you make hard leather bodys and sell them (don't know what lvl to tell the truth)). an alternative is that you smelt Steel bars and sell them they go for ± 600 gp ea. your third option is to train runecrafting untill you can double airs in such speed that you make cash out of it. Just kill cows in lumby, go through gate, bank, and repeat. Did it on my pure account. It will take maybe an 90 minutes to collect hides, another 90 minutes to tan and craft into armour. As others have said, you could smelt steel bars, buying the coal and the iron ore and selling the steel bars afterwards. If you really like fishing, i suggest fishing lobsters instead of swordfish, 3x faster and they almost cost the same. If you haven't already, do all the lumbridge diaries for the explorer's ring (3) so you can get unlimited teleports to draynor cabbage patch. P.S. there are so many ways to make money. -Running airs -Running eye of newts -mining rune ess -making sets from pieces (well, i guess you can't do this because your poor) -FoG items and resell them -mining anything Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can mine 3k gold ore in one day? And I estimate that you can mine around 200 gold ores an hour so if you play for 15 hours a day you can make 1.4m. However gold ore is your best bet. Just train your mining to 60 and crafting to 40 first. Does it really matter whether I was right? #-oThis is Tipit. There is nothing more important than being right. How long do you play for each day? Making 1.4 Mill each day using Gold Ore and in F2P is a bit unrealistic and an exaggeration. I would recommend these ways to make money: o Mine Gold Ore: 40 Crafting and 50+ Mining o Make Steel Bars: 30 Smithing o Tan Cowhides into Leather: No skills required, just need money to buy the Cowhides o Cut Yew Logs: 75+ Wood Cutting My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. (air tiara on head) Craft air runes on your way to the crafting guild to get rc exp, proft (its profitable at like 3x airs, close to break even at 2x) Then this way you mine 25 gold ore then teleport to falidor, bank, repeat. At 55 RC i was making good money doing this when i was F2p. Also teleporting instead of walking back saves time, and in that time you could have mined more gold so you are making more profit then with walking. Last thing: the explorer ring may be faster then fally teleport and cheaper as well. I have never got one but I have heard so.
