I just got guthan warspear from barrows,and im wondering should i sell it or keep it.I really dont know what to do since i opened ge history and saw its price changed -14% in last month, and 73k in last day (I WANT SOME 1 TO CONFIRM 73k CHANGE , IT SEEMS TO BE STRANGE FOR 1 DAY - (last day) (i think)

 

 

 

1.Should I sell it or keep it? (Im poor,and i occasionally do godwars - perhaps i could tank with full guthans. I really like slayer. Im low summoning so i dont know if its smart idea to sell the spear and train my summoning to certain lvl where benifits of healings are much greater than guthan's. I also wonder is summoning expensive to upkeep - do those summoning monsters coast alot to summon when i reach lvl....)

 

 

 

2.Where could I use full guthans? (Where do other ppl use it,if u can name all activities)

Personally I would keep it, because it would be nice to be using something that you actually earned yourself as opposed to buying.

 

 

 

However, I'm betting that guthans will rise in the future, but not the near future. I could of course be completely wrong though, but it looks like it has some room to fall still.

Also I have spend an estimate of 3.5M to get 64 summoning now (buying both second and shards). I think it'll cost me like another 1.5M or somethin to get 68. So It's about 5M I think to get from 1 to 68. Anyway, I have to say I love my guthans in lots of spots when I do slayer.

I respect your oppinion on this, but from my point of view I don't see why should I keep an item that is surpassed for years, even it's price is constantly dropping, and just recently they added summoning skill that has WAY greater heal than full guthan's set is supposed to heal.The more ppl train their summoning the least they would need it,and there are quite alot ppl to come with high summoning in next time period

1.I guess guthan's price falled for first time Godwars Dungeon came out with better armour + Sara Sword that has special that heals hp and restores prayer in same time.Thats when guthan's price falled for first time

 

2.After that they added summoning skill. Im quite sure not many people decided to train it yet,but its been confirmed it heals much faster than guthans.I think much more people are going to train summoning in future because they are alredy working on quests which will have req,and the other factor is - ppl realise summoning is more important than they expected,because they would read more about it

Ok,i have question in what way guthans could still be usful after getting bunyip (From ur post i came to conclusion that u havent got it yet, and from other's post i read recently i read buniyp >>> guthans). Beside that, guthan's spear is 4m+ , there is guthan's helm i need to complete my set,and guthan's helm is worth over 1m,1.4 i believe.Even if i get full set it degrades enourmously and it coasts like 7 m in total

 

 

 

I would like this information confirmed with more oppinions. Seems like most of ppl disagree with selling it,but it's price drops rapidly... is it because people havent been much into summoning or because they got used to guthans and are actually afraid of idea they will loose too much gold if they keep it for longer?

68 Summon. You get a bunyip, simple as that =p

 

 

 

Ok, well it heals you every 15 seconds for 2 hp which will last you at most slayer places. Sometimes, its not enough so you still have to combind bunyip+food or bunyip+guthans to heal enough, for a task such as, hellhounds. I personally use bunyip+sgs and that's a great guthans replacement ^^

 

 

 

If you don't think a nooby level 109 has 68 summon see my stats =p

 

 

 

The downside is you wont need to use your guthans everywhere now, like at greaters, I use to use guthans, but I can get through fine with just a bunyip and no SGS spec.

 

 

 

Its also still useful if you want to do like, Bandos GWD and become a guthan's tanker for your team.

Lol since im poor sgs isnt an option for me :( .However,i totally forgot u can use guthans + bunyip at same time! omg.. Beside that i alredy mentioned i know its good tool for godwars tank . But i wonder why bunyip would be better at godwars when its less risk? also 2hp on 15 seconds is slower than guthan's hp gain isnt it?

With a bunyip, you are guaranteed eight hitpoints a minute until you run out of summoning points, which is great for most monsters. With Guthan's, the healing is random. I once went five minutes killing greater demons without healing once with Guthan's, then I healed four twenties in a row. It can be... unreliable at times.

Ok, if any 1 could predict further price chages,i would like more suggestions on should i sell guthan's spear or keep it for heal... and if u are familiar with price changes plz post what exactly is going to happen with price (altho nobody knows but still if u saw similar case alredy before) I want to know what would be the bottom line price of spear. 14% just makes me afraid

I would keep it. I mean, you got it for free didn't you? Its not like you are merching it and losing 73k. It will help your slayering with the full set.
