Those things are so sweet that you can use a stylus and poke on ur screen, from the new microsoft windows xp tablet version, you can even doodle on ur desktop, you can highlight when browsing internet.

lol, the technology is out there, maybe its gonna be way cooler in the future

for you crazy people who like to kill farmers in ardy wheat field, this is a perfect solution :D

I can type faster than I can write with a pen, and unless i'm drawing something I don't see how thats very useful :-\

For typin? no i definitely wont be lettin my hands suffer

the thing is it is useful for taking notes

wat if u are in geometry and wanna take some simple notes about circles? you are not gonna go to MS word and draw a big dumb circle, and write stuff all over it.

PS. I know! A paper works! but its technology, right?

I have enough trouble reading my handwriting on paper, I wouldnt want to see a computer's interpretation :P

They are pretty sweet. Would I buy one? No; nevertheless they are pretty sweet

My school got something like this. Just coast over $5k and a whole lot bigger. I'll explain.

We got windows tablet with a labtop, projector, and a "smartboard"/screen that you touch, can draw ect.

We have it all set up on this 52" board that we all use in math class. Since his hand writing sucks, he write it with the pen then highlights it and it turns it into "normal" computer writing. It's awsome.

We all got to draw on it. Draw where ever you want. Desktop, over anything. Doesn't have to be in a word document either.

Best thing playing pinball on a screen as big as you. :D

It's awsome if you want to make drawings, and sigs.

:P

My bro's friend showed me his, it's pretty darn cool! It won't be useful for me though. Nevertheless, it cool! I just thought of something... you could walk around watching a movie with that! <-- The heck?

Tip of the message: Don't read this...

8)

i dont see why you dont just get a laptop, touch screen is good for rpg but not really anything else

My handwriting looks like crap that was stepped on and then wiped off on the front lawn, and my drawing is worse.

...This wouldn't be useful to me, in other words.

We had an excursion with school about two years ago, they were showing those things. They look pretty cool. :P

When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

I sometimes use one at work so I can plug it into network points around campus, I prefer it over my laptop. :\
