- Get all naval sets and Port Phasmatys flag (duplicate of flag, it doesn't go into costume room)

- Get golden cw armour

- Get full penance armour (duplicates too, don't go into costume room)

- Get expert dragon archer hat

- Get your white knight rank to master level

- Complete all Challenge scrolls and become The champion of Runescape

- Get full void

- Get full lumberjack costume

- Get full rogue's armour

Just a few things that came into my mind (yes, i have all those except cw armour). Minigames really can give you something to do for quite a while.

You can also set some drop goals for yourself. Like getting dragon full helm, dragon chainmail or dragonic visage as personal drop.

I used to feel like you, at level 86 combat or so with 3 99's the game felt repetitive. But you gotta find things to have fun with, go for all 99's, try to buy out the rare market, stuff like that. And as far as making friends goes just skill something and sooner or later you'll find someone.

If we get 2-3 of these a month, does this say something about RS? Like maybe people are bored but keep playing out of obligation to friends or the time already spent?
If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system.

Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased.

The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."

The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

Death should not be taken as 'the end,' but a very effective way to cut down taxes.

a very important aspect in runescape which i feel you might have missed out on is the social aspect of it...about 40% of the motivation behind my playing of the game stems from the friendship that can be nurtured while doing so...there are many ways for my friends and i to enjoy ourselves and have fun together such as castle wars which is one of my favourite. Jagex also introduced the godwar dungeons for groups of friends to unite together and battle the monsters within as one because only by cooperating will they be able to EFFECTIVELY (since solo-ing is possible but ineffective) defeat the bosses.

maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cooking

life may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?

my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it

You should join a clan like GUILDS, we're always looking for new members. #-o

No really, it's great fun and there's always someone in the CC. If you're bored, just Clan Chat Grim_Jokes and introduce yourself.

If you don't feel like making that sort of commitment, then find something you really like, like giving free stuff to n33bs (really cheap stuff, like iron armor. It's great fun), skilling, bounty hunter-ing, clan wars-ing, anything.

I have found that being a helpful player to those that you come into contact with is a very good way to make friends. Whether it is a level 35 that is killing hobogoblins while I am collecting snapes/alching or someone that I meet while slaying fire giants, any willingness to help others will take you far.

Now I do not have an insanely high combat, but as Alpha, Moto, Sly, or heck even ego scorpion will attest to, I will often times drop whatever I may be doing in order to help out. On one occassion, i even stopped questing, something I really enjoy, to take a glory to Sly when he ran out of prayer while chinning. As a result I have developed some pretty strong friendships with quite a few people. Of course with those mentioned, it probably helps that I am in ventrilo with them. For others though it is the same scenario. Often times peole with higher combat will ignore the lower combat, heck that even happens quite a bit here on tif, but if at any time I am asked a question that I have insight into, I will give advice, help in anyway, or even show what I think to be the best method of doing something.

What friendships boil down to is a willingness to devote your time to others. A good friend will return that sentiment and do the same for you. In Runescape the mentality, however, is "what can you do for me?" instead of "what can I do for you".

But if you do not mind wasting a good bit of time doing, often times ridiculous things, drop me a PM and I'd be glad to be a friend.
