spudrow
Just a quick question. When applying gear that gives negative to your weight, if your total weight goes into the negatives, does that help further your energy conservation or does it leave room for extra gear? (i.e. If I wear Boots of Lightness & Spotted Cape, my character has -5 weight. Does that -5 go towards conserving my energy, or does that mean I can wear up to 5 kg more weight before it starts effecting my energy consumption? If that makes sense...) Sy_Accursed
it effects your energy use. The lighter u r the slow ur energy drains. If you have 0kg you lose energy faster than at -5kg 0kg = base energy drain rate, any change either way either raises or lowers drain rate. If it didn't slow energy drain rate why do you think every single person training things such as rc has on boots of lightness, spotted or spottier cape and penance gloves? I mean rune essence, pouches etc are weightless. spudrow
Yes, I realize that. My only concern was if the game took negative numbers into effect, or if it just allowed that much room for inventory/gear addons. That's what I needed to know, thanks! Troacctid
Negative weight drains at the same speed as 0 weight. I confirmed that when there was that bug that made spottier capes weigh -5 kg even when you're not wearing them. I ran with -90 kg and again with 0 kg and it was the same. Sy_Accursed
oddly enough testing with a bugged item doesn't prove anything. What does prove it is 4 players with empty invetories The one with just nothing ran out of run first The one with just boots of lightness got a bit further before running out The one with boots and cape got even further The one with boots cape and gloves got even further still. All had the same agility level Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

A rcer with all 3 weight reducing items will use alot less energy pots on large amounts of crafting than ppl without My friend did a trial with like 1mil ess or sumat and ended up using like 15 less energy pots with weight reduction items Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

No offence, but it sounds suspicious. I do think it drains a bit less with more kg's in the negatives, but it doesn't really matter much. When Abyss Rc'ing, you're probably better off wearing a bit more armour and being -1kg instead of being -8kg or something, as you'll spend less time and money eating if you do this. Troacctid
Well I didn't get the looping synched quite right, but the one on top is at 0 weight and the one on the bottom is -13. If you get the animations to start at the same time you can see them draining at the same rate.
