Images not working?

Featured Replies

Whenever someone posts an image on their guide, all I see is text saying "Image". Please Help!

I actually have found the opposite. Last week half the images in my guide weren't showing, now they all are. I checked a few other guides too, there pictures were working too.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

It could be because the image hosting website's having difficulties or something :? . I'm not sure though, this i havent seen any crossed out pictures in ages.

Everyone, I can tell you with full and complete certainty that these image loading failures ARE NOT Tip.It's fault, period. :shame: ... Put simply, the problems that each of you are experiencing are being caused either by the server where the image really resides, or the routers on the way there. (Again, NOT Tip.It!!! <.< ...)

Actually, I've had some other problems. Sometimes when i post an image, it just doesnt show entirely. I'm guessing that'd due to the file size, as after resizing to a smaller size, it displayed fine.

Again, it IS NOT Tip.It's fault, period. What is happening there is a link break that is being caused by one of the following three sources:

  1. [*:2u3x2f6z]Your ISP

(If this is the case, you're in for a serious uphill battle. Get help from your image host on this one.)

    [*:2u3x2f6z]Your Image Host

(An e-mail to them should fix your problems.)

[*:2u3x2f6z]One of the routers on the way to there

(Sorry, fellow forum user, but there is no good way to fix this one.)

I'm really getting tired of people trying to drop this problem in Tip.It's lap. Please use your 'tracert' command in the future, and check your path to your image host. It really is not that hard to do. -.-

DV, i see no one blaming tip.it for this :|

Stop licking up and stop repeating yourselfe, seriously.

The problem is at the image hoster site, yes, but also some people might have used the 'add an attachment' while it still excisted, and they deleted the images or whatever, causing the images not excisting where the code read it should be.

Pixels make me horny.

Dragontotem, I'm a little better-natured than I'm probably sounding here. ;) ... Anywho, sorry about me going berserk there... Must have been triggered by Jimmy's 2nd post to this thread. :anxious:

BTW, I'd be really surprised, after PostImage.org having effectively gotten all that advertisement from Tip.It, if the images had been deleted by PostImage. Think about it a moment... Wouldn't that be like leaving behind a horror story, and/or bad 'P.R.'??? :-s
