hi, i haven't played runescape in a while and i decided to make a new character... i am very confused with all these new stuff like grand exchange, item lending, fist of guthix, etc....

 

 

 

1. so i want to know what is the best set of equipment that f2p players can have? i remember it used to be full rune set with amulet of strength or power, dragon vambraces, and the stronghold of security boots...

 

can someone tell me the new best equipment and where/how i can obtain them?

 

 

 

2. I also remember something about how lvling up atk, str, and def or prayer or magic can affect my hitpoint value negatively or positively... like training a certain stat earlier or later can damage my hp value in the long run... what is this about? i dont really remember...

 

 

 

3. Can i use my old character to drop stuff for my new character in some random house? or is that not allowed anymore? :o

That is the best equipment set, excpet you swap the normal Rune Kite for a Rune [bleep]e Shield.

Rune berserker shield is from Fist of Guthix. It degrades as you use it, so you'll have to regularly play the minigame to recharge it if you use it often. This makes it less worth it for everyday training, but it's the best shield in F2P by far if you're playing BH or whatever.

 

 

 

Magic equipment now involves Druidic robes from Fist of Guthix. These also degrade, similar to the rune berserker.

 

 

 

Ranged now involves a green dragonhide coif from Fist of Guthix. They also degrade (surprise!).

Drop trading and any other form of unfair trading which is against JaGEx rules is also against Tip.It rules.

 

Please do not discuss techniques about breaking these rules.
