Featured Replies

Ive been assigned to kill 40 mutated zygomites.

I got stuck with this too!

You need two things to finish them off...

Can't remember exactly what but i do know that the slayer master in the lost city only sells one of the two items.

She sells the pump/spray and you have to go to another slayer master to buy the other one. You can then add the spray to the pump and use it on them when they have low hp. (buys lots of refills)

I think you pick up the mushrooms nw of the slayer room and kill them.

Hope this helped.

Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!

Er, chaeldar does sell both the fungicide pump and the refills. They function similarly to rockslugs and salt, and gargoyles and rock hammers, you have to nearly kill them to use the fungicide on them. When the pump runs out, use the fungicide canister on the pump to refill it.

if youre going to kill mutated zygomites bring armor with high magic defence. because they attack mainly with magic based attacks.

there are zygomites by the cosmic altar, and north east of the windmill with the butter churn in it.

first you pick one of the mushrooms on the ground, then a zygomite will attack you. in youre chat box when it says "it looks like the zygomite is on its last legs finish it off" use the fungicide spray with whatever number of doses you have in it. you need to buy fungicide spray, and a couple refills. i'd advise you buy refills for 10 more zygomites than you need to kill in case you mess up fighting them. also you should bring lots of food, because zygomites hit pretty hard.

She doesn't sell both! That's what gets most people confused.

she does sell both, i reccomend you check next time you are there.

Last time i checked (about 2 - 3 weeks ago) she didn't.

Maybe a hidden update?

i'm pretty sure chealder sells them, i've alway used chealder for slayer assignment and she has given me a couple of zygomyte and i've bought both spray and refills from her. I've been lucky with zygomytes, i usually get free refills as a drop so when i mess up i have more to use.

I like to think of the Dark Bow like a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) - you get one shot and then you're screwed.

Every slayer master store is identical, and they have always sold both fungicide items.
