Being a player moderator in my mind, is extremely rewarding, but a tad time consuming. You don't "miss out" on anything in the game, but it doesn't make it any easier or harder. It's a lot more work than just reporting. I know you would love to think you got pmod by helping people, being mature etc, but it doesn't work like that. Do you know, how exactly a player moderator becomes a player moderator? I'm afraid I can't explain it. But no, I didn't get "chosen" because I helped people and typed punctual in game. But no, you're right, it doesn't work like that. So many contradictions, but oh so hard to explain. I could understand how being helpful would help you become a forum moderator, but there's no way Jagex could ever see that in the game. In all fairness, being a pmod wouldn't let you know about their criteria than anybody else. I've seen the pmod center, it has nothing in there that anyone wouldn't know with a little common sense. All I'm saying is if a number of people can get a bunch of pmod accounts within a fortnight by autoing, all with an average of 100 reports, Jagex can't have a very rigorous screening process. Anyways, I'm pretty sure that most new player moderators now are referred by someone who already is a mod and then reviewed. That seems to be the only efficient way to get new moderators, but I could always be completely wrong. If your friends are not considering you an "equal" because they are mods and you are not, then they do not deserve to be mods in the first place. Power should only be given to those who are responsible enough to carry it and your friends certainly dont seem the type. Although this is probably just insecurity on your part, sorry but I really feel that Jagex should not give modship to players that really want it. They shouldn't be you're friends either, in that case. Come to my Clan chat (I'm there if I'm online) if you wish to borrow a Green H'ween mask, Blue H'ween Mask, Red H'ween Mask, or Santa for a reasonable price.
