Looking for some feedback on my SOTW entries

Featured Replies

Seeing as this weeks theme in transportation, I figured I might have a legit shot at making a half reasonable signature to enter. I spent about 3-4 hours on the four of these, and I'm looking for feedback on them before I choose which one to enter.

The pictures were (believe it or not) taken in my driving simulator. I then put them in PS and went wild... I still have the .psd files if I need to make changes.

And yes, there's alot of gray there... full color just didn't look good to me. If you want me to post an original shot or two, I can.

Thanks in advance.

I would say the 2nd or the 4th, however you may want to add some more effects, even if they are just basic, it doesn't really look like you've added much. I'm only saying this because they LOOK like stocks, so unless they were meant to be that way, you might want to add a little to it.

The other option would be to post the stocks to see how much work you have actually done

Wouldnt this be cheating...?

Yes, they were somewhat meant to be that way. That's my style... put too much crap on and it gets absolutely ugly...

You go tell me where it says I can't ask for advice before I enter. I already have one picked out I think (#4) so I'm more looking for advice on my work rather than which one people like the most.

it would be pretty much the same as posting a WIP getting advice on it to make it the best you could and then enter it.

#4 is currently the best one, but its to bland right now, if you add some c4d's to it, maybe a light gradient, it could be alot better

I personally like the 1st and 4th the best ::'

Ok... I need someone to explain this whole C4D thing to me. Or find a post explaining it. Or something. I know it's a product of Cinema 4D... but that's about it.

Hmm, I would say that you should add more effects. They just look kind of plain to me... I'm not sure if that would be cheating or not.. Ahhh, I can't think.

#1 and 4 look best to me. Not really a fan of the others, the third one for example just seems too boring, grey and slightly blurry.
