Did you check your computer's recycling bin? All deleted files usually end up there.

If they are not, do a system restore to a day before you deleted the pictures; and you'll have them back. ::'

Look in your recycle bin. If they are not there, then you may have lost them.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

If you post this on the Computer and Tech forum, someone may be able to link you to some recovery program...or it may just be in your recycling bin (as said before)

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

Try clicking My Documents on the side, then go to My Pictures from there? I have no idea, but it seems like "Recent" would be a cache type thing? Dunno.

If not, try your recycle bin.

Yeah, check the recycle bin. If it's not there, you may have a problem. If it was indeed sent to the Recycle Bin, and the bin emptied (provided you haven't modified it to instantly delete files), then there's still a slim chance you can get some or all of your files back.

Free undelete utility (don't know how good it works, since I keep a backup of my documents and such). It works because Recycle Bin doesn't delete files per se, it simply makes it so that Windows views the section where the file was as "unused" or free, and able to be overwritten. This also means the more you use the computer, the less chance you have of recovering any of your photos.

Give the utility a try (hopefully downloading it, etc, from another computer), and see if you can't get everything back.

So you sucker punched a kid in the back of the head? Good job.
What scares me is that you're like 10 years old.

You were a couple years ago.
It's not racist if its true.
Hmm... I wonder how one goes about throwing someone out a window in a mystic fashion :-k

The mental image for that is freaking awesome.

Try http://www.recuva.com/

It works like a charm, every time. It's freeware, by the way.

Well, actually, it only works every time if you haven't used your HDD much since the files were deleted, since you may have written over the old data. Try as soon as possible, otherwise they will be corrupted, and lost.
