August 19, 200817 yr I've been smithing mithril (with nature runes) but it's taking so long and I can't seem to get my money back. Anyone have a suggestion of what I can do. I'm on P2P. Thanx
August 19, 200817 yr I made iron knives back when pures used them to train ranged with. You could check that out.
August 19, 200817 yr Author I still think there is lots of wasted money in making iron knives. Even a mithril plate body retains less than 60% - 70% of it's value (ie, it sells in GE for around 3.5K, yet mith bars are nearly 1k each). So far there is only one item that I know of that is working... I can retain about 90% of the price and buy back my mithril bars- only losing 10%. But it's tedious to make and I want to try something different.
August 19, 200817 yr bolts used to be good, not sure if they still are, you might want to try looking into them
August 19, 200817 yr Go to world 58 and go to the blast furnace. Make your mith bars there and then smith them into mith arrow heads, then later fletch them into arrows and sell them. I've heard this can be profitable, but don't hold me to that.... 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
August 19, 200817 yr Author This guide is epic. You even profit. Thanks for the guide. Now that my smithing level is 60 I'm considering blast furnace. I have been making grapple hooks and they sell relatively well (like I said it's only a 10% loss). My goal is to be able to make addy arrows for F2P PKing.
