Dragon Slayer: is the Strength xp optional?

Featured Replies

Hey. It's been a loooooong time since I've done the Dragon Slayer quest, so I can't remember if the Strength xp at the end is optional or not. I wanted to do it on my pure for the Green D'hide, but if I'm gonna get Strength xp...

If it's a ranged pure, a little strength exp shouldn't matter. I can't see a few strength levels making you melee based instead of ranged based.

That said, it wasn't optional 6ish years ago when I did it.

Aaaaah, I forgot the ever-important style-based factor. Oops on my part. Thanks anyways, everyone.

yeah ages ago i think it was if you used different modes you got different exp something like:

Def mode -> att str exp

Str mode -> att def exp

Att mode -> str def exp

thats how the guides explained it back when i did it.
