Could I do Fight Caves/Help with a guide

Hi, after my last post here being succesful(the pouch went up though )and getting 70range, I'm thinking of trying to get a fire cape if I get lucky while solo maging. I was wondering if I could at least attempt it(please don't say that I need something crazy like 80range). Also, what kind of inventory and setup should I use? Thanks alot in advance :). Also take in mind, that I can't afford guthans,so some kind of setup without it would be nice.Here are my stats(that matter):

 

 

 

70range

 

81hp

 

56prayer(I don't think I'll get this up)

 

80def

 

and 76str, 84att if those are needed.

Any ring, archer ring is preferable. You can swap any piece of equipment with something less expensive, but it will make it harder.

 

 

 

Bring slightly more diamond (e)'s, use them on the 360's too as your range is quite low.

 

 

 

No need for a whip.

Get a higher range level, 75 at least since you don't want to get 80, maybe get 60 prayer, it will help alot and shouldnt cost to much, uhmm use broad bolts, and diamond e's on 360s and jads, use muggi's guide, and just familiarize yourself with the area there, learn where all safespots are.

 

 

 

Edit- D Jay pretty much covered best equip/invo, you may not need the whip though

With that setup, will changing the fury to glory,ranger boots to snakeskin and barrowgloves to d gaunts/white gloves be a bad move or should I save up for those three?

You really want to get barrows gloves, they own. Swapping ranger boots wouldn't really matter. I'd recommend borrowing a fury if you can, it helps.

Okay, I don't think I'll have the time/skills to get barrows gloves because school is approaching. So I think, I'll put white gloves in their place.

Rather than using white gloves use some good old vambraces / Adamant RFD gloves +

Try 75 range, it will help alot.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread, but i'm wondering this as-well. If you take out the whip in the above inv pic, what potions should you put there?

Well it never hurt to put another range potion.

I tried with 70 range, didn't even get to Jad. I tried again with 79 range and got to Jad, but didn't know which prayer to use (I should have read the guide better) and died. Get higher range or you will die without even seeing Jad.

Well aren't I purty there lol. Btw defiantly get rid of the whip! I would add in a brew but seeing as your prayer is lower you might be better off with a super restore instead. Good luck and don't wind up like me :P (73-25'd gf Jad) Also I didn't even use all my range pots I had like 1,5 left but I think I started drinking them too late lol

I did the caves in 3 tries with 74 range and a cheap setup (torags helm/legs, snakeskin boots, stole at 60 prayer, mith bolts for everything, even Jad). I know that's not very good, but it's not that hard if you know what you're doing.

That was before broad bolts were released. Thought that was obvious :?
