Please don't state the obvious standby of 99, it won't help.. Fishing with Heavy rod atm. Any feedback much appreciated. Thanks. Fekambard Posted August 29, 2008 Share Posted August 29, 2008 Fish: Monkfish Level to Fish: 62 Experience Gain: 120 Fish: Shark Level to Fish: 76 Experience Gain: 110 As Monkfish requires a lesser level to fish it, you will be able to fish faster meaning faster xp. Monkfish are ridiculously better for cash and exp. Monkfish are ridiculously better for cash and exp. This is true. There is NO level where sharks will be better to fish than monks. (Also, there's no level when swordfish or lobsters will be better than monks, unless you count levels before 62.)
