Hey, currently 64 fishing on my pure, and wondering what a good level to fish sharks would be. Please don't state the obvious standby of 99, it won't help.. Fishing with Heavy rod atm.

I don't know much about them but I would recommend fishing them at around level 70-75.

Fish: Monkfish

 

Level to Fish: 62

 

Experience Gain: 120

 

 

 

Fish: Shark

 

Level to Fish: 76

 

Experience Gain: 110

 

 

 

As Monkfish requires a lesser level to fish it, you will be able to fish faster meaning faster xp.

Just reinforcing what others have said- you should NEVER fish sharks unless you want a big shark for your wall. Monkfish are ridiculously better for cash and exp.

This is true. There is NO level where sharks will be better to fish than monks. (Also, there's no level when swordfish or lobsters will be better than monks, unless you count levels before 62.)
