vox1st Posted August 31, 2008 Share Posted August 31, 2008 I was very upset when I came to a certain part of the quest. I had no idea why the guide said to bring 3k. Naturally I did as was told. Well, I saw why. The gem cutting for the gnome flying part. that stupid runway. I would have said just bring 2 cut red topaz 4 cut opal and 2 cut jade. That way if you are unlucky like me, you wont have to go all the way back for gold and gems to give him. THANK YOU! Obviously you can buy more gems from the gnome, but those gems can break, and if you get very unlucky (like I actually did) you'll run out of money buying new gems. I really think the guide should say, under the item requirements: 2 cut Topaz, 2 cut Opal, and 2 cut Jade OR money to buy these gems uncut from an NPC (note that you may get unlucky and the gems you buy might break) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
