A Short and Simple Chat Suggestion

Featured Replies

As promised, this suggestion is very short and simple. As all of you know, there are multiple chat tabs on the bottom of the screen. I think that you should be able to select more than one tab that you want to have open without having to click all.

This causes a problem with me when I am doing something where there are a lot of game messages, such as fishing, while trying to talk in public and clan chat. I know this can just be fixed by scrolling, but I think being able to select multiple chat options would simply make things easier.

Here's an example of what I mean:

Yes, good idea, or be able to turn "Game" off.

It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true.

That being said...your a [bleep]ing [bleep] douchebag, and none of your advice will ever (or should ever) be taken seriously because of it.

disregard good advice because the giver is a douche

THAT MAKES YOU A BETTER PERSON

Some skills have KILLER game messages, like cannonballs where each one takes up 4 spaces. I totally support, I remember being frustrated Jagex didn't do this when they improved the chat system along with the Clan Chat update.

Just click on the clanchat button and the game messages won't appear.

but then you can't see the public chat. Or you could miss what someone says. I think it's a great idea! especially with fishing... its killer #-o

I know that you can still see that messages, I just think that this is a small suggestion that would make things a little easier.

Thanks for the support you guys.

There isn't really room at the bottom. Maybe in the in-game options menu, you will be able to change the chat options?

I think being able to hide Game Messages would be appropriate for this situation.

(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
