I have a GMC Canyon. It's a company truck so it's not raised or anything. I'm just going to keep it for a few years until I can get a used Sierra. I do a fair amount of offroading. OP: That's a beastly truck.

My carbon footprint is bigger than yours...and you know what they say about big feet.

These are the times that try mens souls...

That's nice looking Cherokee you got there! Good luck with it, I hope that project turns out well.

I don't even own a normal car yet, but I want an old CJ-5. I could never see myself buying any of these new sissy, urbanized wranglers.

Very nice looking truck you have there.

Toyotas have always been nice trucks, especially the Tundra.

Yea, has it's advantages when about 15m from where that photo was taken is a cruel diagonal step up in order to get into the hill-climbs.

Even bit of progress you would make you swear is going to put your truck on it's side

The impression I always got when car topics came up was 90%+ were street-car owners, I could almost count the number of people who owned (or wanted a 4x4) on one hand :(

I feel ya. I wish more people "keep on truckin"

It would be easier for people to drive bigger vehicles if gas prices were lower. Most people are driving smaller cars to save on gas these days.

I do plan to buy one eventually, I've been looking at Hilux's which I hear good things about but have no experience with.

  • 4 weeks later...

Those are sliders, custom made. The rear bar work is pretty much the same, just wrapped around the lower back.

[hide=]Flex before the sliders on the side and new rims/tires

Nice, haven't seen rear bar work like that before... I was half expecting the rear to be cut for increased departure angle. Then again you haven't cut your tray.. no matter :D
