Pretty much this. I hate drinking games with too many rules. The peer pong rules I mentioned aren't many at all, it just seems like it when written down. There is a card game in which you have to remember what all 13 different cards mean (although like 5 of them are just take that many respective drinks). Circle of death. Put all the cards face down and go around in a circle drawing a card doing what the card stands for.

No school cause of some "heavy" snow; 4 inches and counting. Of course, I've been done with school for about 8 days, but I assume the highschoolers get a day off! Oh boy! Snow cowboys!

I love a good cup of coffee. I used to only drink the darker, more bitter roasts like dsavi, but lately I've developed a taste for lighter roasts. Done right, lighter roasts have much richer flavors and can be much more pleasant to drink on a Sunday afternoon (plus they have more caffeine than darker roasts :thumbup: ).

You think thats bad? I've seen 13 year olds with men well over 20, or in one of my ex's cases, 15 and 28. He was almost old enough to be her dad. :| I was on the jury of a statutory rape case over the summer and the girl was 15 and the man was 28. He got 28-32 years in prision.

I guess I forgot to mention the fact that I hate 90% of young adults and teenagers in the west Seriously, I just hate everything about drinking and what it does to people. It basically liquid facade. In some situations, it's acceptable (like when your 40, and miserable). But out of all the people that drink in America, I'd say nearly none of them should be doing it. One of these statements seems out of place. Guess which.

District 9 - Was a pretty good movie with a very obvious agenda. Definitely one of the better summer movies.

Did a bunch of trail work on some local trails, a ton of gardening and yard work (we had a good year for blueberries, but everything else did mediocre), and made some money. Was a fairly laid back summer.

Today, I came across this and was reminded someone on here asked me about ginger ale. I did look around for a kind of alcoholic ginger beer of sorts, but not much luck there. I'm also still organizing and moving in to my new place. It's a lot more expensive to stock a kitchen than I thought.

Beer, wine, mead, or non-alcoholic? I know some good starter recipes for each. I live in north Asheville. However, I was looking at some houses in west Asheville. Today I woke up way too late and am finishing up my coffee before I go for a run.

Sorry deathdrow, didn't look at the dates; you win. Haven't done any brewing in months, but I should hopefully be brewing in 3 weeks. I miss the smell of yeast. If any of you guys are ever in Asheville, I'll gladly give you a brewing demonstration. That's the easiest way to learn.
