All right, I'm gonna have to explain this long story.

 

 

 

I have neighbors across the street, and they're pretty loud, rowdy, and annoying. But a few months ago, they started to 'troll' me for some reason. They began calling me racist following me around, which freaked me out. So, my dad hears them insulting me, and he goes over and talks to them. They said that I said "I hate people who aren't white" which is a complete load of BS since, 1. I have black and hispanic friends, and 2. I never said that and have actually never said a word to them.

 

 

 

So, now my friend messages me. She says they were at my local park, and the same group of neighbors comes by. I don't have the full story yet (she's gonna tell me later), but they are threatening to assault me.

 

 

 

I don't know what to think. These people are about 5 years older than me, I never did anything to them.

 

 

 

I really need advice on what to do. Should I call the cops? Should I wait it out? I want advice on how to make peace with these neighbors because I believe they have been known to beat up people and do drugs.

How old are they roughly, because if over 20, i would want to suggest getting the police involved.

I actually don't quite know, but they look about 18-20 years old.

I really don't know what to suggest, as it's kind of hard to judge the situation without first hand experience. It depends if they guys are serious or not, and if your willing to call the police, which could backfire, because if nothing happens, they would feel even more strongly about beating you up.

Probably just being stupid kids. It happens. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. If they actually try anything, you can definitely do something. Maybe just not walk alone, I never do anyways.

If you live near me we could go on a little rampage to get them off your back. Since I have no clue where "Vivec" is, I doubt it.

 

 

 

I suppose you could alert the police. At least then if you do something in self-defence and one of the [wagon] is badly hurt, you there would be proof of you mentioning to them that they were considering some action. I've never had a problem like this, but if you can't make them stop, then I can only see getting someone else to make them stop as the next best option.

Cops can't do anything until something happens, so your best bet is to avoid them. They're probably all bark and no bite anyways.

If you've done nothing wrong, just wait it out.

Is there any reason they would dislike you? I don't think you've given us the whole picture. You live with your family and are in your mid teens. But you said a group of 18-20 year-olds moved in across the street? I'm sure I just don't understand the situation, but I wouldn't worry about it as they haven't made any direct threat to you and anything you've heard is probably just a rumor. I would ignore them and any time you happen to run into each other don't give them a reason to dislike you. Just be somewhat friendly and you shouldn't have any issues.

Yeah it does seem odd. Do they live by themselves or with their parents or something? I mean, if they're only 18-20 I wouldn't think they'd have their own house.

Going by English law there's nothing really law-breaking that they have done thus far, apart from maybe harassment. Maybe worth a non-emergency call to the police to ask for advice though.

I would just keep away from them. If they escalate the threats, I would contact the police and just make them aware of your situation in case anything does happen.

Oh, and I'll update you guys. I dunno if they are really gonna try to beat me up or not. They may be doing the, "Bark, but no bite" scenario. But they could also be serious.

I think they're just messing with you and trying to scare you, or you did/said something to them that you either don't remember or aren't telling us.

Since there over 18. They can legally own a gun, and from what they sound like, they may have the potential to have one. Although unless they assaullt you or go on you property you cant call the police yet.

Maybe they live in a college town and are renting the house instead. A lot of people did it in the town I lived in.

 

 

 

OT: Wait it out. If they do something then you can call the cops. They're prbably just trying to scare you though. Just stay inside and don't walk outside alone.
