    Today...

Lick it. Lick it. Lick it. No way  Maybe after the Easter holidays but not right now  Damn I'm going to be tempted whenever I see it now >.< You know you want to. Jagex will visit you as a strange 4 dimensional corporate identity during a feverish hallucination if you do. Speaking of 4 dimensions, I went to a lecture featuring a world famous mathematician today where he talked about Flatland and 4 dimensional shapes. It was very cool and the story, Flatland is truly a fascinating one. It's short and I plan to read it, but for the lazy there is a movie of it featuring Martin Sheen.
  2. Haha, I love the label. I'd smoke them just for that.
  3. I don't smoke and that really bothers me. Somehow it's acceptable for a person to be 100 pounds overweight and sedentary, but it's not ok for a person to be a smoker and active (sports, etc.).
  4. Besides crime, my circles don't really have faux paux's. If I pick up an odd hobby or whatever, people just go, "Oh, that's just [Quoi]."

    Bullies

....... -.- Read my last 2 posts, please. Nothing else can be said. ....... -.- Read his last line. To your other post, I guess it depends on the type of bully. I never observed any serious bullies during my time in highschool. So I'm not familar with a bully who really wants to break someone down beyond what the TV tells me.
  9. That sounds dreadful. Good thing you aren't a bird?

    Bullies

Depending on the words, you can try to be clever/witty/funny (key point: positive) back and smile. If you don't have an easy going manner, try to feign one (at least for awhile) and put on the appearance that you think the bully's just joking around and you're joining in with a good mix self-depreciating jokes. If you're laughing at jokes you make about yourself, bully could very well lose interest.
  11. Are you saying people lie a lot or is that just an excuse?

    Today...

Today I was assured I would have an apartment next year at a decent price after listening to a very cheesy sales pitch. I also started drawing up plans to build a wine rack/shelf to store 21-27 wine bottles (I haven't decided the exact number yet), 48 beer bottles, and 4 1 gallon carboys. I'll probably build it out of reclaimed lumber, but it'll inevitably depend on what I have access to. My other option is building a standalone wine rack to go in a large closet and creating a shelf to store equipment in. I have plenty of time to decide though, since I won't be using it until August! Edit: What I'm basing the wine rack part of my piece of furniture on: [hide=][/hide] Dimensions: 23" high x 17" wide x 11" deep
  13. You can never have enough coffee! EVER! I'm drinking an Ethiopian coffee right now that has hints of raspberry and chocolate. Mmmm.

    Today...

Poor mum. :( Besides thinking about starting my own business, lately I've been thinking about going into either winemaking or beer brewing. Currently, it's a bad time to go into the sectors, but those two things have been my interests/secret hobbies for over a year now and that's the longest something has truly held my attention in quite awhile.
  15. Thanks for the advice everyone! I'll talk to her soon, but they'll be celebrating an anniversary in a week, so I should probably wait so I don't create an unpleasant situation.
  16. I'm the one others say yes to, except for skydiving. I don't do skydiving.
  17. She's been in a bad-boy phase for about 5 years then. If only sitcom plans could work... She'd listen and she would be hurt. She's in a bad mood for a little while at least every other day (usually more). Currently, they've been arguing a bit less, but it's usually her who creates a conflict out of an argument. They both start arguements. I'm around them a lot and usually her starting an argument or conflict out of a situation is semi-justified (obviously, there is some over-reaction) since the boyfriend really is an [wagon]. A few more info tidbits: They've been going out for over a year and a half. Me and her are fairly close and I'm somewhat concerned she may get the wrong idea if I confront her (as in, I'd like to date her, which I don't).

    Rap

    Wu-Tang was a disappointment? :(
  19. Should I meddle in someone else's relationship if I think them being separate is for the better? In short, I have a friend who has always been in a bad relationship for as long as I've known her. She's never in an abusive relationships exactly, she just dates people who aren't very likable ([wagon]). She'll fight and argue with them and it's not uncommon for her to be put into a bad mood of her boyfriend. This usually goes on for a year and half, then they break up and she finds someone else who's only slightly different, but no better than the first. She knows her past relationships have been bad, but I don't know what she thinks about her current relationship. My question is, should I confront her about this?
  20. Why? Look at cigarettes. cigarettes are filled with chemicals to make them taste better, and to make them more addicting than they already are. Laura could be saying they'd lace the marijuana to make It minorly addictive. Or she could be saying they'd do something to make it less powerful, so you'd have to buy more. That's what I assumed, which I would reply with, they sell pure tobacco. You can buy it in almost any store that sells tobacco products. So, manufacturers would sell pure marijuana. Thye will just also sell marijuana with additives. so basically, pre-rolled joints with additives in them, in comparison to pure marijuana which would require more effort? If using the same quality marijuana for both, putting in additives requires more effort.
  21. Haha, I'm not that old (I'm probably only 4-5 years older than you). I just like the old styles better from the 1960s to early 1970's.
