i just got 58 iron drags as a slayer task.

 

never fought them before. how should i go about killing them?

 

what kind of setup should i have?

 

if you could link me to a guide on how to kill them it'd be appreciated.

Equipment:

 

proselyte or initiate plate and legs

 

black mask>warrior helm

 

anti-dragon shield or dfs

 

Whip>dragon longsword (NOT a scimitar, as they're weak to stab attacks.)

 

choose the rest by what you ussually use. just remember: attack bonus is MUCH more important than strenght bonus and you won't need defense bonuses at all

 

 

 

Strategy: drink antifire pot, put on potect from melee, deal damage few times with a dds to poison and switch to main weapon. Rinse and repeat. It should take you 2 trips to finish that task

I don't want to sound mean or anything, but I would recommend 75+ to melee them. I'd just skip them until you get higher.

dont listen to last guy, dunno about melee as i dont really use it, but you can easy range or mage em at that level, just need antifire pots antifire shield and some range potions, they don't melee you if you attack them from distance, as long as you have your potion still orking you'll be fine, just watch out while they are still aggressive they can hit hard

NEVER skip iron/steel/mith/bronze dragons task, they are awsome task....if you dont have enought melee stats to melee them that not means you cant do task...

 

 

 

Mage or range them if you are having problems with meleeing them :thumbsup:

helmet: berzerker or slayer helm or dark/black mask (w/e its called)

 

body: proselyte

 

legs: proselyte

 

shield: anti-drag or DFS

 

cape: dont matter, preferrably a god cloak for prayer boost

 

boots: dragon (recommended, as u get a str boost)

 

gloves: barrows (recommended, if u didnt finish RFD, dragon FoG gauntlets, or cooking/goldsmith/chaos gauntlets from family crest)

 

weapon: whip

 

ammy: glory or better

 

ring: wealth

 

 

 

if u mage:

 

 

 

inventory

 

18-20 antifire pots (4)

 

runes for at least 2.5k fire bolts (idk how long it will take u to kill them all)

 

nats for alching rune drops

 

steel wc axe (once again, will be dropped)

 

875gp

 

1-click tele

 

*recommended* 2 sharks (same reason)

helmet: farseer/ahrim hood

 

body: mystic or better

 

legs: mystic or better

 

shield: anti-drag or DFS

 

cape: god cape

ammy: glory or better

Nah, it wasn't that good. You didn't mention pure sets, took a wrong ppot/antifire ratio, the sharks aren't needed as your hp will recover naturally, range pots should be brought when ranging and the grammar sucks lol. Not trying to bring you down, but it's not a great guide either.

Nah, it wasn't that good. You didn't mention pure sets, took a wrong ppot/antifire ratio, the sharks aren't needed as your hp will recover naturally, range pots should be brought when ranging and the grammar sucks lol. Not trying to bring you down, but it's not a great guide either.

was made for his lvl. so I wouldn't waste time writing parts for pures. what if ur running and a drag melees u? ur up will heal enuf to a safe point where u can get meleed again and not die? also remember I said "recommended", not essential
