I'm wondering, but recently I've been getting some major forum lag. Has anyone else experienced the same?

I have too, just now. God, I hope this isn't another DDoS attack.

Lag happens all the time, it's just a fact of the internet. Your connection, the server load and other factors all fluctuate, which can cause slow loading times. It's nothing to worry about.

It's not me as every other website loads fast.

The forum's servers might be experiencing some difficulty, or there might be a lot of people trying to access the forum at once, which can cause lag.

I'm thinking it was the amount of people as well. It seems alright now however.

It was lagging for me earlier, too. Now it seems fine again.

I suppose the crew/admins could give us some insight on this?

I explained it to Killerred when we he joined IRC and asked - it was simply the amount of users/guests on the forum at the time, and it cleared up within an hour or so.

So it's actually good lag. It means we're popular! :twss:

BTW, I've been seeing some lag while reporting/posting... Was wondering if anyone could give insight, especially when not seeing this lag while just reading? :-k
