guys now that the new shields are out..... which one of them will do best for bandos and sara solo/team ? Should I sell the ags for the new shield ? Are the new shield available to buy from the GE or are they yet too hard to find and buy ? (I am talking about the Divine and the other 85mil shields)

Tbh, you should wait a few weeks until the shield's price is more stable. But it is your decision if you want to sell your AGS or not.

Certainly wait for a bit. Prices will most likely drop a lot. I'm guessing they'll be worth around the same as a DFS in the long run. At least, they certainly won't remain that high in price.

Thanks for the concern. I wanted to know if I will benefit with more kills soloing bandos/sara/arma with these shields maybe using range instead of melee or whip and shield for bandos.

Divine spirit shield(85m)

 

The Knowledge Base states that the Divine spirit shield comes with a special bonus, "30% - or as much as if possible if 30% is more than your current amount of Prayer points - of any damage you take is removed. Half of this 30% is deducted from your Prayer instead, while the other half is ignored completely".

 

 

 

Elysian spirit shield(85.3m)

 

The Knowledge Base states that the Elysian Spirit Shield has a special bonus: "70% chance of reducing the damage you receive by 25%". Without consideration of the special effect, the shield is almost as powerful as the Dragonfire Shield ( strictly in terms of defence bonuses), but having 16 more points (Principally from Summoning defense where Elysian highly surpases Dragonfire Shield) .

I dont know much about the new shields, but from what ive heard and seen they look and sound like a load of crap. Maybe if they were 20 - 30 mil each it would be better but i dont think they reflect their vallue at current state. If you want to buy a shield atm though i would besonnaly go with the good old DFS and then you might even have enough money left for a BGS

the elysian shield would be great for tanking and soloing (70% chance to reduce damage by 20% (maybe 25% i dont remember)
