funion987
I sometimes save onto my flash drive and sometimes into My Documents. Is there any way that I can get Word to simultaneously save into both places when I click File->Save or hit Ctrl-S? I am using Word 2002 for Teachers and Students. urbestfreind
Hold the shift key before clicking on file. Then click File, then Save All (new option thanks to the shift menu). Don't know if it works, but I found it on 2 seperate sites. I rather doubt that it will work, but if it does, let me/us (here on T&C) know. Only thing I could find that may work. funion987
This just preforms the function "save" for any and all documents open at that time, and saves them each into their own (1) directory. I want to save one file into 2 directories.
urbestfreind
Its the only thing I could find that even came close to what you wanted. Unless you're a good hacker, I say you're SOL on this one. Just save it in both folders (create a shortcut in one to the other, so it's faster), only takes a few seconds to do a save. Unless someone else knows something I and the first 40 results of Google don't. [hide=Funny Quotes]So you sucker punched a kid in the back of the head? Makoto_the_Phoenix
Nope. Just remember to save to each individual folder at some point in time. (Or, if you're okay with VBScript, you could code a batch file to move the saved file to the flash drive automatically...) (Or, if you're okay with VBScript, you could code a batch file to move the saved file to the flash drive automatically...) You don't need to use VB Script, just a DOS batch file would do it. You could even use XCOPY to do an incremental backup of all your documents. [Assist-X]

Your like if your ok with VBScript then you can code a batch file. There two different things.
dsavi
If someone could figure out how to do this to a memory stick/whatever and an FTP/S server, that would be awesome. But I don't think so. Clare, your new avvy is creeping me out. I looked at it, it was still, and then it suddenly blinked. :ohnoes: I must be really uptight today.
