September 25, 200817 yr How do I do this? I can't use gpedit.msc because it's home edition, and when I created a key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies called ActiveDesktop and made "NoChangingWallPaper"=dword:00000001 this is didn't work ;_; That's what other sites told me to do anyway. Someone help? My brother keeps trying to change the wallpaper -.-
September 25, 200817 yr While we try to find you an answer, here are two questions...[*:2txnqfmd]Why is your little brother trying to change the wallpaper? :? [*:2txnqfmd]Have you tried asking your parents to handle your little brother and teach him that messing with the wallpaper which another person has set is bad? :| ...and hopefully, we'll be back with that answer soon. 8-) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)

V. Devnull Well he's just being a brat and my mum says that if we keep arguing about it she'll just take away the computer from us for being so 'silly' but yeah I really don't want his stupid bands as the wallpaper when I'm the only one who really uses this computer most of the time.
September 25, 200817 yr do both of you use the same logon? why don't you just make him hes own user and he can have the background as whatever stupid band he wants and it wont effect yours.

September 27, 200817 yr You should give him his own separate log-in so that he won't mess with your files either.
September 27, 200817 yr and if you do give him his own log-in, don't forget to set a password on yours
