Bursting for Charms

Featured Replies

Is there anything I could burst for good crim charms that is not Rock Lobsters? I would like to do Rock Lobsters, but I would need someone to come and help me open the door every time. And I have no idea where I could find someone to do that. So is there any other good places?

Thanks to all those who have messaged me concerning a revamp of my Range-Slayer guide. Because of you all I will start rewriting it asap.[/color]

Formerly RobinHoodie.

You can burst Ranger Dagannoths in Chaos tunnels.

Around 9-13 of them will attack you: all you need to do is lure them in a nice way.

They drop alot crimsom+ good cash stuff. That's just a suggestion though.

The luring: They are not far from eachother at all

Hm, good idea. How many charms is it per say, 100 of them?

I really do not know. But i can promise you: they are easy to kill and does have decent drop rate. ;)

They use Range to attack you : so it's tricky to lure them. But if you get atleast all the 12+ dagannoths in near same area you can burst them all.

Theres a familiar, Forge Regent I think (can't check from work), whos special fires at all enemies in multi. Do this and you dont need to lure.

I see people using this at the mummies in the Chaos Tunnels. Whether it's for charms or just XP I dunno. I heard someone was using a similar tactic at waterfiends in the Chaos Tunnels but how they pro'd melee/range in those numbers I don't know, coulda been a lie as theres no safe spot.

NP, reasoni suggested em is that they are so many. Also they pay for every prayer pot you use their. If you go there, bring nature rune+fire runes to alch stuff

Giant Rock crabs gives alot gold charms if u want them. They drop 10 gold charms at time (Mostly gold charms), and also rare chances of 10 blue, crimsom and green.

Not leaving yet so I got a bit of time. And I don't think I can alch while bursting :? Is it still a viable way?

And yeah, forge regent is good, but these guys use Range so I don't think it'd work.

Nechryaels in chaos dungeons, but you need 80 slayer and they are worse than rock lobs.

When trying to get to the Rock lobs - here is what I do:

Check heavily populated worlds for people in the cave killing dags and ask them politely for help with the door (only once someone refused to help me).

or

Check lootshare worlds for people standing in front of the cave (DKS teams) and go in with them.

Don't forget your rune thrown axe if going for rock lobs!

Well as soon as most of the lure is dead: of course you can pick up \' and yes you can :ohnoes:

But personally Hoodie i recommend Lobsters. Why?

Magic is essential. It's a skill that's beautiful. At Rock lobsters you get extremely fast experience in magic and hp.

Also 70% of your magical defense against magic attacks is based on your magic level.

Waterfiends: Great Crimson droppers: to have great chance at killing, you need a decent magic level. But higher you have: easier it is!

So by investing in rock lobsters ( for magic levels+charms) you get: higher magic level, and charms.

Then later you can go waterfiends and get charms there ;)

I don't need the mage exp though. I do fine at Waterfiends with my Bunyip already, I just want to get the level up because it's awfully low atm. I think I'll just try Guzo's idea. Thanks guys.
