No point having two different items for the same purpose. ~ W ~
September 27, 200817 yr Well, if you don't need them, then destroy them. They're mainly useful for newer players who do not have level 40 Ranged. P.S. This belongs in Help & Advice next time.
September 27, 200817 yr Safety Gloves are for new players, IE: F2P'ers that don't have 40 range. Obviously it's not going to be the best of its kind considering how easy it is to get.

September 27, 200817 yr Lol, Cottage. :) fja3omega, you literally answered your own question. If you do not need the gloves, as you have a better alternative, destroy them. You can always go back and get a second pair if you have to. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
September 29, 200817 yr They are semi-useful as a no-penalty item for a mage, but that's about it. With 50 runecraft, the runecrafter kit is better for a F2P pure mage.

Unless you want to mix it with the Fighter Boots from the other safety stronghold, they're useless. When I was f2p, I've used green d'hide vambs -> rune gauntlets, but never the gloves. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
