What's the better weapon for slayer: bgs or dragon scimmy? I use sumona, so most of her tasks are pretty low level. I like the high hits of the bgs, but I don't know if the dragon scimmy makes up for low hits with speed, so which one is better?

personally i find the d long is much much better, almost the same speed as the scimmy but better stats.

 

it depends on what monster your fighting, but in most cases the bgs would be better than the scimmy.

With BGS you would hit higher and would be more fun....but i believe scimmy would be faster + you can use a shield

use a sara sword for training str not bgs. I have both and SS way out performs it for slayer/training. I use bgs for gwd

yeah..I can't afford ss without selling my bgs which i need for boss hunting

then my advice is use a obby sword with a zerker necklace on lunge. also use a defender with it of course

If I used the obby shield+defender+zerker necklace, would that equal a whip in training? and the zerker would stack with a slayer helm right?

Yes they stack and it trains strength with the same max hit as a whip. (around)

Use a bgs on high defence monsters like abby demons and dragons (if you are willing to take the risk, its much funner and faster). But most slayer assignments has no defence at all.

dont use a bgs on dragons...or even abyssals for that matter lol. just use a scim till you make enough money for a ss...wont take all that much time. but a bgs would be much more entertaining.... :
