Dire_Wolf
Ecto-Tokens We seen a recent update at Ectofundus, can this mean that maybe Jagex is gonna make the ecto tokens (useless tokens) a useful one? DISCUSS :P
tintin113
Junk trading is very useful due to the fact that most people just buy things or use things to sell them as junk specifically, they don't just use things that are lying around in their bank because they would have sold them if they could already. It doesn't mean they're depleting their supplies to do it, they're just making money. EDIT: Title and topic changed after I posted this. Thanks to Quarra for the awesome sig!Xbox360 Gamertag = Tintin113

It doesn't mean they're depleting their supplies to do it, they're just making money. Yeah i know that... A example of it is: Rune nails (They seem very uber to me), but i never would junk trade them even though people don't buy them. But every item, is a item and if it's useless now it will be useful later right? So do you just hold onto every item you ever get in the hope that it could be useful in the future? Make the most of now and put up with the fact that it's useless unless you think that a future update (that has been revealed) will affect it. EDIT: Title and topic changed after I posted this. Dire_Wolf
No lol, but i said i misunderstood that phrase. But i do hold onto items that is worth very little gp
tintin113
Isn't that just a waste of bank space? Or do you have 100s of them and just feel like keeping you 'cos you can lol? <--- I do that too! : EDIT: Title and topic changed after I posted this. Dire_Wolf
Well it's one thing going to entire of Runescape and collecting "clothes" but it's another thing collecting thing you stumble on when you fight monsters But yeah i do like you. But i changed the title+ the topic of this thread just to Ecto tokens. Seeing as there is no discussion value in junk items and i was mistaken when i forgot about that junk trading has something to it.
tintin113
Oh great now everything I said looks irrelevant! EDIT: OK hopefully with my cunning edits I won't look like a fool any more! ;) Thanks to Quarra for the awesome sig!Xbox360 Gamertag = Tintin113
Dire_Wolf
Sorry, i just am so unfocused. I even did two mistakes on something relevant to the thread. Really a big facepalm to myself. But topic that will stay is ecto tokens so feel free to discuss
Zaaps1
I guess if you ever want to take a relaxing vacation to Dragontooth Isle, those Ectotokens could be useful. Oh, and the Ghost Brewer sells ale yeast in exchange for a few ectotokens. ~It's Super Effective! (The Zaaps Blog)~My YouTube Channel, where you get to watch me go around and make a fool out of myself and all comp capersGuides:~Yeah I wrote them once~Suggestions:~Yeah I made those once~
Kimberly
I doubt it. Jagex seems to be making more and more skills ergonomic (ie Designed for ease of use) to reduce liability or other sorts of things. I think that update was just another 'ergonomic update' much like cook-all, string-all, gem cut-all, etc.
Dire_Wolf
Yeah but the fact that Ectotokens+Bonegrinding goes together so well: makes me suspicious. I got over 2k ecto tokens myself, so they might notice that ecto tokens is not used much.
Kimberly
Well by that logic stringing bows and having the finished project go along so well, but they didn't exactly have another fletching update after "string-all" came out. Though, I do hope you're right. An update for Ectotokens would be much appreciated. Then you'll be laughing all the way to the bank!
Dire_Wolf
Yeah, but i mean that why did they give "X" to ectofundus of all others??? At this point i don't know what others is but i am sure there is things that would need "X" more than ectofundus.
Kimberly
Er...well, why did they not give all the skills "action-x" yet? They're working on them steadily. Like I said, it doesn't mean there's an update coming. It's not even a reliable factor. :/
Dire_Wolf
I know but it's odd that they gave ectofundus, it's a odd place and i wouldn't expect to get it there that's all.
Triquos
I sure hope so, I still have 4K unused tickets from the old days of prayer training :wall:
tintin113
Well seeing as Ectotokens have a tiny use at the moment, and I have quite a stack of them in my bank I do hope so lol. (Yes for the more observant of you I waited a while to post this so that this topic wouldn't be labelled the Tintin and Hemen chat thread. ;) ) Thanks to Quarra for the awesome sig!Xbox360 Gamertag = Tintin113
SwreeTak
That would be awesome! Then I would finally get a use for these, which I collected when I trained prayer at the ectofuntus before: :P Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
