My first pixel sig! And later ones.

The sigs in this topic show something of my evolution as pixel sigmaker. Before I started pixelling, or my version of it, I did a lot of other things. I was mostly known for my dino animations (small dinoÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s doing stuff like jumping, got told it was cute) Anyway, this topic isnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t about those works, but more about the finished pixel-works (and one big practice thing) I made. I also made a whole [cabbage]load of things I never finished, but IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll dig those up at a later time perhaps. I hope you guys like this thread :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This was the first pixel sig I ever made. I saw stuff made by Lethal Axe (On runevillage) at that time, and I heard many people say he was the best (never heard of mrx, jeppox or zilben at that time.) I had just come back from a break and I wanted to show I was better. So I entered this in a comp, and I believe it won.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Confident of my victory, I entered another competition, which I also won. I entered this;

What happened then I canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t quite remember, but I believe of the things I could recover, I made this for my guide (though itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a edited version for zeus, and not the orignal from the guide), and soon after that a second one for zeusthagod.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I believe I then made this for HadarrimÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s big pixel competition down at runevillage. I won it, and it was the first mil I won :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I then started working more and more on my brushing/pixel skill. One of the first things I made with that was the fox I still use as a sig here.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And after that I made this skull aswell, which I gave to someone who asked for it on msn for free. TÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢was practise anyway;

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My friend, Duke, or Failed Project then said I could never be as good as zilben. Though it was pretty true I made him this one to prove him wrong. It was probably all just a clever trick to lure me into making something for free for him :D

I also went back to animation during that time. Besides a lot of doodles, I primarily made this big project, though I never finished it.

All together I did learn a lot about the whole pixel thing, and I'm finally turning to real pixel stuff after a whole career with dirty tricks. I never did earn a lot though, which got me quite depressed when I was still playing rs. When I figured rs was really stagnating my artistic side, I didn't care about the money to much. All together I guess I made a total of 5 mil, with a lot of sigs not being payed for (Not all finished are in here) and a whole lot of work just not finished. Well.. And venomai, I did try one digital painting for artwork for a new and better Darnassus (World of Warcraft) -seriously.. Did you see the inn in that town?!.. blech! - Was planning to digitally paint Arthas to (Warcraft) And with sketches you mean drawings? I have some. I'll post them in psmg sometime.
