Fire Giant setup

Featured Replies

Wanted to kill some fire giants. Yay. Best way to kill them? Outfit? Inventory? A screenshot would be awesome. And I am ok ranging them. My lvls are 74, 79, 75. Range, 77. Thanks.

With those stats you would be perfectly fine with full rune and 28 monkfish.

Seriously, just bring Torag's armour, whip, rune defender, wealth ring, dragon boots, barrows gloves

Then take 20 or so monkfish.

That setup lasted me about 75 giants just incase you were wondering (when i was your levels)

Even a few more later i can't do much more than that. I take alching runes and a super pot too

Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!

Or do what I did when I had my stats all around 70-ish.

Take full Guthans + alch runes + 3 super sets + 10 monkfish.

I only left when it degraged from full to 75% (I hate it when not at 100)

Should I use a bunyip? Would I need food then?

If you have a bunyip, it couldn't hurt. Bring about 10 monkfish then, just to keep your hp at a fair level.

Bunyip always helps with monster hunting, no matter what you're hunting and/or if you're using prayer...

IF you do use it however I'd say don't use monkfish, use lower level fish worth less and heals slightly less (apple pies heal 14, costs 150)

Bunyip will definitely be usefull. However, I have found it to be LESS usefull at fire giants then at some other mosters because the fire giants can do a fair deal of damage. Unless you are at least 90 defence you will most likely need food as well.

Yeah, still bring food. It does really help

Bring enough food until they are unaggressive, then use bunyip and about 4-6 monks, sharks or whatever.

I find it easier to range these. Too many safes tbh :-#

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Oh yeah. I remember. Just really busy. Are there any spots in Chaos tunnels?

vettro.png

Fire giants in chaos tunnels take a while to get to (apparently), and I dont think many people go there to kill Fgiants unless they're cannoning tbh, so not sure about safespots.

Stick to the waterfall area, banking from chaos tunnels is an annoyance, especially to get back, and at waterfall you can games teleport/leave bank at barb outpost, tele/walk to ardy, tele/walk to fishing guild.

Waterfall wins.

-Im not sure if the ct giants have a different charm/item drop rate, need clarified, but i think they do.

fire giants are in the room next to the giant rock crabs,(were you enter the tunnels)

you cant bring a cannon in to the chaos tunnels.
