There's no new messages in my inbox though :wall:

Could be because Tipit's sever's slighlty slow on showing you the actual new message, but knows you have a message waiting for you, which is why it's displayed.

 

 

 

Maybe try....refreshing?

Has happened to me. It went away though. If it's still there after visiting the inbox... Well, I don't really need to say this but in that case something's wrong.

Hmm, try clearing your cache/temporary internet file folder?

Is your inbox full? Delete any unneccesary pm's and then see if there is a messae near the top of the sreen that says smoething like "Your inbox was full, do you want to see this message anyway" or something like that.

If someone sends you a message, then deletes it from their outbox, I believe this "bug" can happen. I don't think it's possible to trace it, but I might be wrong. It has happened to me before, though.

exactly, happened to me tons of times. Once actually bugged alduron about it ... Ah the nooby times <3
