Necrobrawler
I'm new to this skill so I was wondering how much it would roughly cost to get to 52, using the most cost efficient training? How much would that be in charms, are we talking about 2 - 3k gold charms or even more?
Roseiah
I was thinking of leveling up Summoning soon, and to get to level 50 I think it was just over 2 million for me, buying certain items and gathering the rest. As to what you want to summon, each to their own. I think you should look around all the guides, not just on tip.it either. Once you have looked at a wide range of guides look and try to find out which one you think suits you, and maybe add different guides ideas together. Inuashakent
Well, my guide should answer some of your questions. Remember though, that you should use just Gold charms if you are going for a higher level. JoeDaStudd
Ok heres some calculations 1 to 4 free (quest exp) 4 to 16 - ((266*8)*25)+(266*68) = 53200 + 18088=71288 16 to 28 - ((374*7)*25)+(374*93)=65450 + 34782=100232 28 to 32 - ((114*47)*25)+(114*100)=133950+11400=145350 Thats dreadfowl till 16. Granite crabs till 28. Compost moulds till 32. At 32 your options expand greatly as do the amount of charms need to gain the levels. So lets say 32 to 41 ((176*84)*25)+(176*97)=350700+17072=367772 41 to 46 ((371*78*)25)+(371*423 )=723450+156933=880383 46 to 49 ((118*111)*25)+(118*14)=327450+1652=329102 49 to 52 ((149*117)*25)+(149*64)=435825+9536=445361 Thats 32 to 41 honey badgers 41 to 46 macaws - Its cheaper to make beavers, but it will take much more charms. 46 to 49 prye lords 49 to 52 bloated leeches Totals at 2,339,488 2.34 million. Thats not including if you make scrolls with some of the pouches, any bull ants you might summon later on or any scrolls/pouches you trade for shards. [hide=Drops]Dragon Axe x11Berserker Ring x9Warrior Ring x8SeercullDragon MedDragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kcGodsword Shard (bandos)Granite Maul x 3Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats][/hide]
Necrobrawler
Thanks a lot for your help, mad props to JoeDaStudd for doing some calculations. 2 mil isn't an issue for me, but from the sound of that (1 - 52) summoning is quite costly. Yeah I took a peak at your guide Inuashakent, though it was a bit too long and complicated. I think I should reconsider whether I should start training summoning or not, and if I do I should complete the quest first so I know how the skill works. Right now I'm pretty clueless to all the pouches, scrolls, shards, summoning points and all that. But thanks once again.
matrix2613
Ok, If you have not done these quests, use the xp lamps on summoning- Spirit of Summer -1k xp Summer's End - 1.5k xp A Fairy Tale Part II - 2.5k xp(lamp) A Tail of Two Cats - 2.5k xp (lamp) Contact - 7k xp (must have 30 summoning) (lamp/wish thing) The Great Brain Robbery - 5k xp (lamp) King's Ransom - 5k xp (must have 50 summoning) (lamp) Legacy of Seergaze - 2.5k xp (must have 35 summoning) (lamp/book thing) One Small Favour - 20k xp (must have 30 summoning) (lamp) Recipe for Disaster - 20k xp (must have 50 summoning) (lamp) Troll Stronghold - 20k xp (must have 30 summoning) (lamp) Meeting History - 2.5k xp (lamp/book thing) http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Quest_e ... ce_rewards So, 15k xp for the quests with no leveling requirements, or level 31. 42k xp for quests with 30+ requirements, or level 44. 2.5k xp for quests with 35+ requirements, or level 45 (almost). 20k xp for RFD, with 50+ requirements, or (from level 50) level 51. That is 82k Summoning xp, or over 2/3's the xp you need. I don't know which quest you have/have not done, but even if you do a few it will still be chaper (and maybe faster) in the long run. I can't really help you with anything else, as I'm f2p and have never done summoning, but I hope this advice Helps. woot. You are one with the matrix. Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae.
