A MMAG ( : ) I know, but what is runescape to you?

 

 

 

Close your eyes and just think Runescape whats the first thing that comes into your head?

 

 

 

What makes this game we play what it is?

 

 

 

I can guess half the posts will be 'noobs with bad spelling bad attittudes etc etc' But what else is runescape?

 

 

 

Personally i see runescape as a kind of chatroom with a game built around it. Name me another game where people sit in a bank doing nothing but talking to other people and shouting HYT when somebody recogniseable walks by?

 

 

 

P.S yeah i wanted to break the 'moan about pking' thread tend from the last few days -.-

For me, the first thing I think is that Runescape is a MMORPG (I know it's not a MMORPG, but that whats come to my head) and that it's a great way to make friends and that it made me meet the greatest comunity, Tip.it

I too, think that RuneScape is just a Huge chatroom, with a game built around it.

 

 

 

But, RuneScape is rather unlike any normal chatroom, it's addictive. Highly addictive.

 

It's a good way to make friends, online friends that is.

 

 

 

But, RuneScape can, for most make them less confident. More shy, for lack of a better word.

A massive chatroom where you create and accomplish goals, or compete with other players.

The first the came to mind:

 

 

 

Runescape = annoying idiots, followed by headaches

A way to get away from parents, siblings, real life troubles, and have fun while chatting to friends on RS - I chat to irl mates on MSN at the same time and would go out with them over RS obviously.

Runescape is a place, where i like to go train skills and chat with people. and whilei play runescape i often watch videos and read & post in forums

A once epic world filled with challenge and excitement and mature people in 75% of the world.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now it's Red Bull.

The first thing that came to my mind was my character mining outside Camelot castle between the fountains.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Runescape is a place for me to get a break from real life and enjoy..

Runescape to me is a game...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, something to do when I am bored and feel too cheap to go to blockbuster and rent a game...
