October 26, 200817 yr If you need inspiration, go on PR Forums "design talk". There's a sticky called 'Most Inspirational Small Art You've Seen'. Most of my inspiration comes from that. It might even be a good idea if you joined PR anyway. As with the sig, it seems bland & repetetive + the C4D around the sprite is too visible, and rather distracting I daresay. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM

October 26, 200817 yr Remove border. Remove swirly effect thing. Smudgie background, add some depth and colour. Create more flow (by smudging or adding coloured effect C4Ds). Focal in middle = not good, I'd say chop a part of the canvas off to help the composition. You really can make nice things though. Have more confidence. :thumbup: pixel avvy by me deviantART
