Virutal thieves get real-life punishment

A court in the Netherlands has convicted two youths of theft for stealing virtual items in a computer game, and sentenced them to community service. Only a handful of such cases have been heard in the world, and they have reached carying conclusions about the legal status of "virtual goods". The Leeuwarden District Court says the culprits, 15 and 14, coerced a 13-year-old boy into transferring a "virtual amulet and a virtual mask" from the online adventure Runescape to their game accounts. "These virtual goods are [legally] goods," the court said. The 15-year-oldd was sentenced to 200 hours' service, and the 14-year-old to 160.

EDIT I probably have some typos because this was handtyped onto the computer.

Im guessing the amulet is a fury? and the mask is like....a halloween mask or animal mask

Sorry buddy, but there have been numerous topics about this. :| If you had looked down the page, you would have found that there was already a topic on it: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=766693

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
