October 26, 200817 yr what is the key to getting huge charges in fist of guth. i usually get about 1.5 to 2k charges but i see and hear of ppl getting 4 and 5k charges. how is this done? thanks
October 26, 200817 yr They Probably get 4-5k charges because their opponent is really bad/cant find them in the center Either that or there frighteningly good :ohnoes: Unfairly Banned-Appeal In Process, Its been slow due to the sheer number of them
October 26, 200817 yr They get terrible hunters theres no realy secret to it but you can use this guide I guess. October 26, 200817 yr Usually I end each game with 3k+ charges, use certain mounds where players can't hit you (even mage!) for example there's one L shaped one on the north side (slightly west). Try going around it; mages and rangers stop at the opposite side and can't attack you. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
October 26, 200817 yr Ive found that with FOG, the only way to get high charges would be to run. Yes, RUN! I might make a guid about FoG soon but till then ill let you in on my secret. When you get the Stone, run to where you get 10Charges at a time. Stay there until your hunter spots you, then run into one of the houses. Try and sneak out of the house when your player is out of view, run back to where you get 10Charges at a time. just keep on repeating this. This is how i got to over 20K rating and ive beaten many high level players. Grandwatcher and Fung 108 being my greatest victories(both level 126 in F2P). |Tip.it's TOP F.o.G player|Current Goals: 95STR/95ATK/95RANGED|
October 26, 200817 yr In a way it is the luck of the player you are playing but... you can use this strategy: Run to a place were you can get 3-9 charges. Wait till you hunter sees you and then use the stone to tele to center. Next run around the houses with stone because if you are always on the oppsite side of the hunter, he can't attack you with mage or ranged let alone melee. I have done this and gotten 5+ charges. if your run runs out then just go to the center and wait to die. Hope it helps
October 26, 200817 yr FoG is all about displaying superior strategy. If your Hunter foils your plan to beat them you need to be able to get yourself out of trouble or you'll never be able to get 4k-5k charges even if you read the best guide in the world. With tactical skill, you can beat even FoG's best players. What makes FoG less of a challenge is that most players you'll be paired off with are idiots. These are: Magers: Who fail to understand FoG wasn't intended for free Magic xp, thereby costing them the round (they don't even get enough xp to make it worthwhile) High-leveled players: Who refuse to accept that tanking in the centre isn't a winning strategy Centre area idiots: You always know you'll find them there; making them easy to kill when you're hunting and even easier to avoid when you're hunted. Just keep moving around, never accept a specific location as "good enough" to stand still and gather charges. Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.
October 26, 200817 yr the real secret is to get high skills, high armour and low hunters =) or maybe they are just huge clan getting huge amounts of tokens =P
October 26, 200817 yr Actually, i did some research before, and i found that close games are actually better for you because they net you more tokens/hour. I used a formula for gathering charges from another post on tip.it ( i forgot) and i found that after you get a certain amount of charges, anything more won't be worth the time. It was based on combat level and i remember for me, lvl 80ish, about 1500 was optimal. So if you want to get the max tokens/hour, you don't really want 2k+
October 27, 200817 yr Author thanks for the suggestions. i found that there is an area that gives 21 charges a good distance from the fog. the NE hut is a good spot to gain charges while your hunter waits in the middle.
