You should try pineapple pizzas, they heal a lot more than monkfish and aren't that expensive. I'm 99 slayer, got it before the piety hype, didn't use it on a single task, and I got there reasonably fast as well. Well, that's to say, I got there well before I got bored with the skill, and I know I'll return to slayer once I've gotten some of my other skilling goals. However, I'm nearly getting scared to return to the slaying grounds ever since everyone has such decided opinions on how to slay. What really kills me about this efficiency talk is that, apparently, if you aren't doing everything in your power to maximise your slayer experience and money stash, you're failing. Merely the fact that someone felt the need to point out you don't have to pray on every single task, indicates that such a feeling rules amongst the masses, or at the least the self-proclaimed elite.
