I'm fully aware that getting ANY sort of random event is in large part a random sort of thing, but I really really really want that full mime.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So does anyone know any places where they seem to get more MoM events or how to increase events in general? I myself have definitely had more mazes in the SoS than any other place.

burying bones will get u shade, zombie and gravedigger more often then anything else, i find mime to be extremely random, it can appear at any time

Several players give locations/skills that seem to trigger the Mime event more frequently than others, such as burrying bones in the SoS, high alching, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course, I don't know if there's any validity in this... just a suggestion to check it out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I personally have only got the mime event twice since it came out, and with that, I got the Mime mask, Mime boots, Glass box and Glass wall emotes. Don't remember where I was, or what I was doing, at those times though!

I've found that I get a random event 8/10 times if I do the following:

   [*:3fkg2z2r]Go somewhere underground, for example the chaos tunnels, dungeons etc.
    
    
    
   [*:3fkg2z2r]Kill anything within the underground space, preferably the same type of monster (e.g. don't swap between two types of monsters). Collect the bones of the first one you kill.
    
    
    
   [*:3fkg2z2r]Try not to talk using public chat, although I find that Private and Clan chats don't seem to make much of a difference. Also, try to stay logged in, so don't logout often.
    
    
    
   [*:3fkg2z2r]After about 15-45mins of killing the monsters, bury the bones you collected earlier. Hopefully, you will get a random. Chances are it will be a teleport away random, and hopefully a mime.

It seems to me mimes come alot during fletching and alching.

Stay in the bank, I got a full mime set, minus emote, just for that (higher population in bank seems help)

I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I remember hearing that a high number of clicks will trigger a random, such as alching, fm, or mining etc. Also, I personally get a lot of randoms when doing wc, specifically the old man box random, and in the SoS.

Me and my friend got our full mime set plus all emotes by alching 10k-20k

Randoms are randoms. I've received the most however by

 

- alchemising

 

- teleporting

 

- monster hunting

 

- woodcutting

 

- mining

 

- crafting

 

- smithing

Hmm...well being underground and staying on for a long time seem to both increase the chances for at least me.

 

 

 

I recently superheated like 600 bars but only got the magic box. Maybe I should do large amounts.

Honestly I don't want to argue because you're technically right, but.. when I buried my 10.000 bones not once did I get gravediiger- I mainly got mazes, mystery boxes, and mime.

 

 

 

Back to the question; I tend to get more events alching or burying bones.

Randoms trigger on actions, so larger amounts of clicks means larger chances of getting a random.

Try to make the system think you are AFK. Just do simple clicks and don't do anything out of the ordinary.

 

Just like kill 3 monsters. pick up 1 bone. kill one more. bury bone. kill one more. eat.

Alch. It won't take a lot of alchs before you'll regret wanting that mime event so bad.
