smithing help

ok i am 44 smith and i want to get it to 50. is there anything that i could make that i wouldn't lose too much money on? or alch it or sumthing? thats all thanks :)

Smelt Iron Ores into bars with rings of forging, actually makes money. Alternatively you could make cannonballs which also makes money.

anything faster? i tried cannonballs but they are so slow..and i think iron ores would be slower :cry:

You can't really complain about speed at that low of a level.

Smithing is generally slow to level, but at 44, you should just go mine some iron and coal, smelt into steel, and smith into the highest thing you can make. Alch what you make.

I'd go for the smelting iron ores with a ring of forging, then smith them into iron knives. You should probably make a small profit. If you have started the Varrock achievement diaries you can wear your Varrock Archievement Armor and then smelt at Edgeville and smith in Varrock to save more time.

You'll lose massive money doing steel plates or something like that ... you're better off smelting bars.
