SirHartlar
I was thinking about getting these to 99, but I wasn't really sure what other options I had apart from chinning and ice bursting. I don't want to spend lots of cash, if anything a bit of profit might be nice. I was thinking a combination of Aviansies and Yaks for Ranged and maybe DKs and something else for Magic. I have no idea of exp rates or profits so any help is appreciated. :)
CampbellMC
Range: To figure out the best way you want to go about this you have to determine how much money you want to make. [*:3181zapz]Yaks/Ogres - Biggest loss, fastest exp (Bronze Knives) [*:3181zapz]Dusties/Fire Giants - Some money made, slower exp (Bronze Knives/Broad Bolts) [*:3181zapz]Aviansies - Lots of money made, slowest exp (Broad Bolts) Personally I like the Dust Devils, they are good exp (35k+ per hour) and you make decent money back. I use bronze knives here since they have such low defence, and you don't have to worry about crowds really. If you decide to power range at Yaks or Caged Ogres, prepare to battle for kills because it gets very crowded, same with Aviansies. Magic: If you are up for maging dagannoth kings that is great, you will make your money back easy and it is half decent exp. I did 94-95 mage there a while ago and profited about 45M, keep in mind at the time summoning was not out so it was a lot harder for trips, but items were worth more. Alternatively most methods are getting very pricey now, alchs lose over 100 each normally now meaning it will cost you atleast 6.5M probably, if not more. ultimatballr
Well with mage, unless you are willing to spend a year and a half on getting 99 then I would suggest something like alching or onyx enchanting in MTA. (Personally I find enchanting to be tedious but rewarding as far as not standing in one place and clicking goes). Exp rates for both are about the same (65-72k exp/hour) As for ranging I would say do Aviansies until you see about a 5m+ gain in money then buy chins to speed up the exp. When the 5m (or whatever) is spent up, return to Aviansies and repeat until you have 99. This should ensure you take little to no loss. This is pretty much how I plan on getting 99 in both. Apparently, my signature was to big.

I like the sound of Dust Devils actually, I assume that would be using the Smokey Well safespots? I probably couldn't manage all the Magic exp at DKs because it is quite slow, but a combination of that and stringing or something might be good? CampbellMC
I range dusties in the Chaos Tunnels. In either dungeon there are multiple safe spots though so it is up to you.

Aslan
You could range ogres in the Blood Rune Tower.I use void+bronze knives+unholy book, using pineapple pizzas for healing. They mostly drop gold charms , but i take a gold, crimson, blue, green charm from the bank so I don't have any trouble with space.I've rarely seen anyone there, about 7-8 people in 2.4m xp.The rate is ~50k xp/hr, with the equipment mentioned above.I keep ranarr/snapdragon/watermelon/strawberry seeds and I fill the inventory with big bones.I sell the big bones on Ge and make some more pineapple pizzas. As for the mage part have you considered MTA ?I'm planning on getting 99 mage through the Enchantment Arena.
ilovecardj
Range slaying is a decent option as well, especially if you plan on getting 99 slayer one day. most tasks are 40-50k an hour with void and knives. CampbellMC
how much better is void than black dhide? It is just slightly better, but it adds up after time. Void is mostly only better on low defence monsters since it lacks range bonus.
Aslan
Void is also used where a safespot exists.

Should I chin at lev 70 range at pest control for 99 range? Itd give me more xp and id get void armor There are 2 things wrong with what you said : 1) The damage that you inflict while PC'ing is reduced to half. You only get 1/2 of the normal xp(outside of PC). 2) Lvl 70 range is very low for chins. You'd be wasting money with them rather than training efficiently.Use aviansies(from 75+) and gather money for chins. OmidSan
Then from 70-85 range should i use black dhide and just do slayer tasks with rune c-bow/knives?

For the Yak part yes.Besides yaks are crowded most of the time.If you choose to kill ogres seeds are stackable and you get the money that you spent on food/knives back.Blood Tower is the place to train on ogres.
