When you say turn based, do you mean like.. Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics?

Only if you can read through and process the sourcebook fast enough.

 

 

 

It's an RPG system, not an RPG maker.

 

 

 

Alternatively, you could port some of the rules for tabletop Warhammer 40k (or any miniatures game, really) into a turn-based computer game. That way, you won't have to worry about coming up with your own mechanics.

I mean, like a board game. (*gasp*) I know I could do it with rpg maker, but that's tedious as hell to make (as you would have to program every tile to go to the next person. :-#

if you're making a board game, why do you want a program for it? Grab some cardboard and markers tbh.

Well i suck at making physical drawings etc, so making one on a computer would be the most logical thing to do. And Zonor, what's basic?

If you have absolutely no knowledge of programing at all why the hell are you trying to program a board game which is, well, supposed to be a board game.

No i'm not, just a program to make a game in, where i can supply the sprites myself.
