Well, simply put I am trying to get my farming level up, from 44 to at least 70.

 

 

 

I am currently doing all allotments except the one that requires an ectophial (guess why #-o)

 

Also I am doing four Fruit trees.

Toadflax

 

Best fruit tree seeds I can

 

 

 

 

 

Is there any way I can do normal trees and still make a decent profit, also what patches should I add in, although I don't want to make it too complicated, I need time to fletch. :roll:

Are you doing toadflax for the profit.. as ranarrs give profit to AND have better exp than toadflax.

Marigolds give more profit than limpwurt roots, both give close to no xp.

 

 

 

I personally think allotments aren't worth doing.

 

 

 

Plant willows or something in your tree patches, everything helps.

 

 

 

If you want to be cost efficient on the fruit tree part, do pineapples.

 

 

 

Snaps>Kwuarms>Toadflax (about the same profit but snaps/kwuarms are better due to the xp).

Do orange trees. A seed costs 191. Each tree yields 6 oranges upon checking, put them in a basket and sell for 1331 on the GE. I took middle prices here. They sell quite fast, the exp from them is not impressive, but you MAKE money instead of losing.

For your regular seed woes go with willows. They are about 2.3k and well worth the price.

well don't use allotments, theyre a waste of time and money, do marigolds instead of limpwurts (more profit, they give fail exp anyway) for herbs use either: kwuarms, snaps, ranarrs or toadflax if you don't have the level, plant a cactus if you can and just harvest spines every herb run, as for regular trees dont do them, and for fruit trees do 5 pineapples costs 80k gives 20k exp

well theyre rising so much atm so I'm stocking up cuz soon theyll be 16k :P and your right about the 22,5k exp, also theyre like 65k atm, on the way to 70k for 5 seeds

Allotments are okay to do, as long as you don't mind sacrificing the extra time. Be sure to grow high-level stuff in them, though - watermelons are best (and they make supercompost, too! :D ).

 

 

 

A limpwurt root sells for about 800 gp. A marigold sells for about 3k. People buy marigolds for bull ant summoning pouches.

 

Also, if you're close to a level, and you've got nothing else to do, don't forget about vinesweeper! It's an easy minigame once you get the hang of it and you can earn 2k-4k points in an hour if you're good at it.

Regular trees cost to much. Short answer, no, you cant make a profit and grow normal trees. The ones that dont cost alot arnt worth the time, and the ones that are worth the time cost alot.

I don't do allotments anymore, either. I have watermelons out my ears, enough to supercompost for ages. If I was only doing farming/herb, I might consider planting allotments. But I am doing some other skills and allotments just make the runs too much longer.

 

 

 

You can do normal trees dirt cheap if you are willing to work with oaks/acorns. At your level, acorns have more pop than they do for someone in the higher levels.
